Buckler's Reel offers a unique blend of folk-rock, traditional, international, pop and cover music, all featuring the ultra-modern electric Viper violin. We are based in Sussex and focus on live events, whether it be in a pub, open-air, stage, or hall, celebrating and enhancing all kinds of special occasions.
We cater to a wide range of music styles and tastes - from traditional Irish to pop classics down the years. All our musicians are highly experienced and talented, mixing 4-part harmonies with instrumental excellence and our live performances are always a hit with our audiences. Sad to say December was a rough month for the band's health, with Paul struggling through 2 early December gigs with barely a voice, and Sue also with the lurgy, before it all got too much, and we reluctantly had to cancel our last 2 Christmas gigs. There was a lot of it about! We were sorry to disappoint the venues who had kindly booked us, and fans who were looking forward to seeing us nearer to home. Hopefully we can make up for it all in 2023. Fingers, toes and everything crossed :)
